Handelsbanken's iPad application (app) is now ready.
"We have sent our application to Apple and we hope that the app will be
available for our customers before Christmas," says Mats Carlson who is
responsible for mobile services at Handelsbanken.
The app includes the most useful and popular services: account transfers,
topping up mobile phones and checking the balance of your account.
"Together with our 461 branches in Sweden, personal telephone bank and mobile
solutions, the iPad app is another way for our customers to access the Bank,"
says Mats Carlson.
The new app is based on Handelsbanken's prize-winning iPhone app, which
according to ratings in the AppStore is the best bank app in Sweden:
"Just as in our mobile service, our customers will have access to balance and
transactions, make transfers between their own and pre-defined accounts, open
and close cards for online purchases and cash withdrawals outside Sweden, top up
their mobile phone cards and more."
Handelsbanken has now expanded its existing mobile web service with enhanced
apps for Androids and iPhones with market information and mutual funds.
"It's all about availability. Regardless of where the customer is or the time of
day, our customers will be able to access Handelsbanken and our services."
